Check Valve Bolted Cover
Leading Supplier of Check Valves in India
The comprehensive range of Swing Check Valves from IPC can be installed in horizontal as well as vertical lines. The Swing Check Valve, like all Check Valves, is used to prevent back flow in the line. The resultant pressure drop is minimal.
As the pressure below the disc increases it raises up from the seat to allow the flow. The valve closes with a drop in pressure on the inlet side and a build up of pressure on the outlet side. The disc is held in closed position owing to the back pressure in the line.
IPC offer wide range of sizes in check valves right from 2” to 24” (DN- 50 to DN -600) and pressure rating ranges from #150 to #2500. Higher pressure rating and bigger sizes can also be provided. All valves are manufactured in accordance with the latest industry standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are experts in Swing Check Valves, a highly reliable and common type of check valve. Our range is designed for versatility, with valves that can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipelines to suit various system layouts. We focus on robust designs that ensure minimal pressure drop when open and secure sealing to prevent backflow.
The bolted cover is a key feature of many of our industrial check valves. It refers to the sturdy, flanged bonnet that is securely fastened to the valve body with a ring of bolts and nuts. This design provides exceptional strength and a reliable, leak-tight seal, making it ideal for moderate to high-pressure applications. A major practical benefit is that it allows for easier internal inspection and maintenance when needed.
This robust construction is perfect for demanding industrial services. It’s commonly used in oil and gas, power generation, chemical processing, and large water/wastewater systems. If your application involves consistent high pressure, potentially abrasive media, or requires long-term durability with minimal maintenance, our bolted cover check valves are an excellent choice.
Absolutely. Our technical team is here to help. Share your key application details like line size, pressure/temperature ratings, the type of fluid, and installation orientation (horizontal or vertical). With this information, we can recommend the optimal valve material and design from our range to ensure reliable, long-lasting performance.
